DeeJay Proof

February is business as usual with a Replay Lounge patio gig, a couple High School dances, dj lessons at Break Free Hip Hop School Kansas City, and a Taproom gig at the end of the month. The weather has been crazy, I’m not sure if it’s going to be hot or cold but I am praying for less snow. I hope to run into some of you at these shows and I plan to have some new recordings posted on the site very soon. Let’s ride!!!

In January Dj Proof starts a new residency at the super cool Broadway Arcade in KCMO! Solid Sounds ranging from Funk to Soul, Electro to EDM, Hip Hop to House and much more! The Proof is in the pudding!

December is always a crazy time for me.  I have children so the holiday season is very special.  I also have a birthday this month so I tend to get excited.  I guess at my age we celebrate milestones not birthdays but either way there are quite a few gigs that I’m looking forward to.  I’m anxiously anticipating my birthday party gig at Stockyards Brewing Co. on the 20th.  I have some great guests that I will be sharing the event with.  My longtime friend Bill Pile will be spinning with me.  Aside from being super nice on the mix, this guy is responsible for giving me my start and letting me open for some very big names in Hip Hop early on in my  dj career!   Fellow Midnight Marauders G Train and Johnny Quest will be joining me on the turntables and my homie K Flex is going to represent as well.  After Christmas I will play inside the Replay Lounge for an all vinyl set.  I tend to get very “involved” when I play real records!  It is my favorite style of djing and I think there will be a little something for everbody in the mix that night.
