I was fortunate enough to make it to this years Dj Thanksgiving put on by my guy, Dj Highnoone!! There was an amazing amount of talent in the building (The Levee KcMO) and I got to cut it up on my man Skeem’s new 7″ turntable creation! Scratch Bastid made his Kansas debut and absolutely killed it!! Shortcut amazed and BuckRogers continues to impress, oh yeah….Sinister and Dj P too!! I believe this was year 8 and I just couldn’t believe the amount of (free) food and crazy camaraderie within the KC Dj and nightlife community. It was definitely something to be thankful for. Make plans to attend next year, I know I will!
